If you want to be part of the action of Chicago, you will enjoy the location of this hotel, as have many guests. The property is close to the Magnificent Mile shopping area and also provides easy access to all the tourist attractions in Chicago, many within walking distance.

There have been many complaints about the quality of the building and rooms. The entire hotel has been said to be in need of a complete overhaul, upgrading and remodeling. Issues cited included, but were not limited to: peeling paint, fraying carpeting, broken TVs, poor shower pressure, broken toilets, old mattresses and broken locks on doors.

One of the top complaints about this property has been room cleanliness. A large number of guests commented on the poor upkeep in rooms and said they found their rooms to be unpleasant. A few of the issue cited included having problems with bad smells in rooms, dirty bathrooms, stains on carpet and bedding, wet carpeting from leaking fixtures and mildew in showers.
