Very noisy area takes a bit of getting used to.
Marrakesh is quite a noisy, hustle and bustle kind of place in general but the newer district of Gueliz is still largely under construction. This means that the general din of the city is exacerbated by construction crews using heavy equipment. Night-time

Bottled water is charged for.
The hotel charges for bottled water which is much more expensive than the local shops. Bringing in bottled water is also not allowed as bottled water must be purchased form the hotels own shop.

The hotel advertises free Wi-Fi throughout as a feature but the reality is that, at most times, the Wi-Fi signal is non-existent and perhaps even switched off!
