Set amidst rolling hills and about a 20 minute walk from the town centre, Willowbrook, Chepstow offers both self-catering chalets and individual rooms and guests had nothing but praise for either style of accommodation. According to some guests, Sarah serves up the best breakfast in Wales with local sausages and bacon, free-range eggs and traditional Welsh delicacies such as Laverbread cake (made from local seaweed) served on black pudding with fried eggs and mushrooms. The Willowbrook is close to a busy main road and despite triple glazed windows, some guests say traffic noise was a problem. Others noted that the rooms were not soundproofed and complained about noise from neighbouring rooms. Those bothered by the noise were in the minority however and most guests say they were not disturbed.
