Positive Reviews
positive:
Easy access to the lovely beaches
Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa offers easy access to Maui's two most beautiful beaches: Ulua Beach and Wailea Beach. The latter may seem mildly crowded, but is jam-packed with fun activities. Ulua Beach is quieter and is perfect for relaxation.
positive:
Splendid view of the pool and ocean
You will surely adore the view from your suite that is right above the infinity pool. If you're lucky, you can have a suite with a breathtaking sunset view. Moreover, from the hotel's pools, there is a walking trail along the coast and you will be able to see the Molokini Crater.
positive:
Resort is close to a Starbucks Cafe
If you are a coffee-person, you would love to know that a Starbucks café is just nearby the establishment. The resort gives Starbucks coupons and discount. Some guests even reported that the Starbucks here has the fastest and most efficient crew they have ever seen.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Resort is not child-friendly
You may soon realize that this property is not suitable to stay to when you have small children with you. The property sits on a small cliff. The beaches on both sides of the property are not child-friendly either, as they are full of rocks and branches. Moreover, the kid's pool is not really accessible from the adult's pool.
negative:
Some amenities are overpriced
Bicycle rental at the hotel is free for the first hour, but you'd pay a considerable amount if you return it late. Parking costs an extra, and the resort fee may cost a fortune to some.
negative:
Inadequate parking space
The spaces for parking are tight. Moreover, compared to the number of guests, the number of space in the parking lot is obviously inadequate. Thus, it may be advisable to use public transport instead.
