Jekyll Island’s Villas by the Sea Resort and Conference Center is an oceanfront establishment surrounded by seventeen acres of natural landscaping. The villas are privately-owned and are available for weekly, monthly or long term stays. From studios to three-bedroom villas, each unit is equipped with a full kitchen and private balcony/patio. The Villas by the Sea Resort and Conference Center offers wireless internet, an outdoor pool, and a 400-foot oceanfront boardwalk. The 9,000 square foot conference center has audio-video capabilities, as well as two smaller conference rooms. The Driftwood Bistro serves up island fare and can also cater to specialty diets, while the lounge is a casual place to enjoy drinks. Jekyll Island is home to the Georgia Sea Turtle Center, which usually has sea turtles on view for visitors. The island also has an Arts and Antiques Festival in March and a Shrimp and Grits Festival in September.
The Driftwood Bistro received excellent feedback from guests of the Villas by the Sea, who reported that the food was quite tasty and the ambience of the lounge was comfortable and conveniently located to the villas.
With amenities ranging from a pirate ship playground for children to the oceanfront boardwalk and on-site restaurant, guests have been very pleased with the activities available at the villas. The outdoor pool has garnered a lot of good feedback with its cleanliness and partial shading by Live Oak trees.

Though the villas are oceanfront, the beach outside the facility is limited, as it is only available during low tide. At high tide, only the boardwalk is usable. Guests are able to walk to nearby Driftwood Beach, however.
