positive:
Comfortable, functional rooms.
You will find the rooms, although not luxurious, to be comfortable enough and functional — everything you need for resting up, without the distraction of any kids about.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Thin walls means some some noise.
Some people who have stayed at The Monsell found the walls between rooms to be thin enough that they heard people in other rooms, so keep this in mind if you are a light sleeper, or are wishing for some more privacy.
negative:
No food served here.
It seems some guests who stayed here had the impression that they were in for a B&B style stay and were disappointed to find there was no breakfast or other food offered on site.
negative:
Appears a bit run down.
You may be among those who believe the hotel is dusty and in need of updating, and that the bathrooms in particular need a good deep clean, and indeed some rejuvenation appears to have taken place in early-mid 2015.
