Beautiful food at breakfast and day’s end.
Guests found the food to overall be beautifully-presented and tasty, with a good choice and amount of breakfast fare to set them up for the day’s exploring.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Steep hill easy on the way down...
Getting downtown is not a problem, but the hill-top location of the hotel means you will have a steep climb back, so those who have had enough walking or have limited mobility may want to take a taxi.
negative:
Some Wi-Fi problems.
While not everyone had this issue, some guests had problems connecting to The Mariners’ free Wi-Fi and maintaining the connection.
negative:
Noise from adjacent rooms possible.
Due to the age of the building it is possible you may hear some noise through the walls if you have particularly loud neighbours, and otherwise those who have sea-view rooms might just have to contend with the din of squawking seagulls.
