The staff are reportedly friendly, efficient and eager to help where they can, as well as being knowledgeable about the city and neighbourhood so as to be able to provide excellent tips.

The hotel's situation in the centre of Istanbul within a few minutes' walk of major attractions such as Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque is another of its features that lend to such rave reviews across the board. Previous guests were pleased to be able to enjoy an easy walk to these sites, along with having excellent public transport connections readily available.

The design scheme throughout this hotel is a hit with the majority of guest, who find the traditional decor and hardwood floors to be a delightful combination. The rooms are not only appealing but also well-appointed with everything guests need, including tea and coffee-making facilities with complimentary Turkish delight, and very clean.

The hotel advertises that rooms here are soundproofed, but a small number of guests found they experienced a little noise from other guests in the hotel. These reviewers say it was far from a major disturbance however.

Some previous guests found it a mild annoyance to have to log in to the wireless internet for each use.

A number of reviewers say their room was smaller than expected, but this is more of an observation than a complaint as those guests say they were still very comfortable.
