Choose rooms carefully.
There are two sets of rooms to choose from at the Stonehouse Court Hotel. The manor house section features larger rooms that are generally more luxurious and pricier while the Garden Wing annex offers rooms that are somewhat simpler and a bit more affordable.
negative:
Enquire about events before booking.
The hotel is a popular venue for all sorts of events which take place throughout the year so it is important to first enquire as to their event calendar before booking as some events can take over the entire hotel.
negative:
TV and Wi-Fi reception quite poor.
Perhaps due to the location many guests have complained about poor television reception as well as poor Wi-Fi signal at times. Fortunately there are a number of very nice public areas where one can try find better Wi-Fi signal and catch up with sports in the lounge or bar areas.
