positive:
Nice Kitchenette in Rooms
Guests enjoyed the kitchenettes that are in the rooms and the fact they could prepare their own meals without having to eat out and spend more money. It was nice to cook their own meals in a well-equipped kitchenette and spend more time outdoors.
positive:
Good Amenities for Price
Most guests agreed the rooms were functional and spacious. The bathrooms worked well, the showers had hot water and good pressure. Most rooms had nice views of the river or surrounding area which was a plus for people looking to experience nature.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Unfriendly Staff
Some guests thought the indifference from the
staff to be very annoying. Their calls went unanswered for hours and only persistence
paid off for their calls to be received. The staff didn't seem to acknowdlge
guests and their requests for help regarding treks and tours. There was little
customer service.
negative:
Needs Updating
Some guests did not like the fact the lodge is a bit too rustic-looking. The place is described as dingy or run down. There is no furnishings in rooms for guests to enjoy what they cooked, the linens were thin and rough while the hotel seemed to have no maintenance.
negative:
Thin and Ugly Towels
The towels seem to be a little detail but for guests, it is a big matter, especially when the towels are found to be thin and old. It does not make people want to use the towels for cleaning themselves.
