Serviced apartment Royal Sunset Beach Club (Playa de Fanabé, Spain)

The Royal Sunset Beach Club has a lovely setting of subtropical gardens and landscaped pools. Several beaches are a stroll away and guests staying at the hotel can enjoy the beach and indulge in many water activities. The hotel is in a location that is crowded with shops, places to eat and clubs. The place is an hour’s drive from Mount Teide National Park and about a 15-minute drive from the airport.

The rooms and apartments are of several types suited for all types of guests. The rooms have an attractive decor with a balcony, and a seating area that is equipped with an iPod dock. The facilities of satellite television, DVD player, electric kettle, iron and air conditioning are available in every room. The kitchenette present in all the apartments is equipped with refrigerator, microwave and cookware. The bathrooms are private and provided with free toiletries and hair dryer.

The hotel has two outdoor pools, one only for children. It has a gym for guests to workout and a spa for guests to pamper themselves with massages and sauna. The restaurant on site provides different cuisines including the local one and caters to international crowd as well. There is a pool side bar for snacks.

Rooms are not maintained well. Beds are uncomfortable and dirty with stains. Rooms on the first floor are exposed to noise from the streets below which causes great disturbance for guests travelling with children.

Wi-Fi facility is highly charged and the accessibility is erratic as well. The speed of the connection remains slow most of the time.

Amenities like sun beds, children’s pool and Jacuzzi can be used after long waits and a club membership is required to make the rates inclusive. Pool towels are not changed everyday which is a disgusting aspect.
