For a fuss-free, self-catering stay, guests recommend these
apartments, saying that they're well-appointed and pleasantly furnished. During
downtime, you can keep yourself or the kids entertained with the choice of
channels on the TV, or with the WiFi, which guests say works very well.
positive:
By the beach in Las Palmas.
Bajamar is located right in the centre of Las Palmas, and guests love the convenience of staying here. Not only can you walk to the beach in about two minutes flat, but there are plenty of shops and restaurants around. Guests say that the local buses are easy to navigate too.
positive:
Friendly and family-run.
Guests enjoy the polite and friendly service they receive at
Bajamar. It's a small, family-run establishment, and it shows in the personal,
attentive service you get, from the helpful, practical information at the front
desk, to the high standards of housekeeping.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Noisy at night.
It can be noisy at night, according to guests, both from the
street outside, and from slightly worse for wear partygoers returning in the
wee hours of the morning. If you're out ‘til late yourself, it's no problem,
but it can be annoying if you're trying to get an early night.
negative:
No air conditioning.
There's no air conditioning at Bajamar, and some guests
report that the apartments can get overly warm, particularly in the summer. You'll
have to rely on fans or keeping the windows open to cool down, but then you have
to put up with the noise from outside.
negative:
Missing kitchen items.
The kitchens could do with a few extra items of crockery and
glassware, since there don't seem to be enough for everyone if you're eating
in. Some guests even bought their own glasses and bowls because there was no
other option.
