The people working at this hotel take their jobs seriously and offer a warm welcome when you arrive. Their attention to detail is commendable, and you'll have everything taken care of while you're a guest here.
positive:
Lots of restaurants and shops right outside.
If you're looking for some entertainment, an evening meal or some retail therapy you'll find lots of options right on your doorstep. With so much to occupy yourself with you certainly won't get bored while staying here.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Closest train station is a tad too far from here.
This hotel is quite far from main city centre of Singapore, but what makes this a problem is that the nearest train station to connect you to the rest of the city is a half hour walk away.
negative:
Avoid unless you like small dark rooms.
Once inside this hotel you'll notice that not much natural light can get in. Some of the rooms here are particularly small and to make things worse they don't even have a window to the outside world.
negative:
Overpriced considering the quality and facilities.
You can do better for your money than the Santa Grand East Coast, with a plethora of great hotels available in Singapore. This place simply doesn't excel in what it does, while other nearby hotels seem to offer that little bit extra for the same price.
