Riviera Beach Resort (South Yarmouth, USA)

There is plenty to do in and around this resort. It's right on the beautiful, clean beach and a huge amount of watersports on offer. There are also many children's activities, which keeps them fully entertained.

The staff here really take care of their guests. They are extremely professional and accommodating and go out of their way to ensure that all their guests' needs are catered for.

The complimentary breakfast is excellent quality and offers hot cooked food such as bacon, eggs and pancakes, along with baked goods, juices and hot drinks. Hot and cold drinks are also available at all times in the lobby area.

The resort advertises that guests will have ocean or pool views, however some found that they overlooked a parking lot, or that other things obstructed views of the wider landscape.

The rooms are getting a little tired and need some refurbishment to bring them back up to an excellent standard. The furniture is outdated and a few guests experienced a damp odor in their rooms. Other guests had issues with their air conditioning units which didn't always sufficiently cool the rooms and also were very noisy.

Guests who want to relax around the found that there isn't a sufficient number of umbrellas. There are, however, staff who provide plenty of umbrellas and loungers to guests on the beach. The indoor pool is small and is advertised as being a heated pool, but some found it to be quite cold and also very full most of the time.
