Turtle Island is a 500-acre privately owned island in the Yasawa Islands. Since 1980, the Evanson family has operated a low density, sustainable resort designed to offer an experience that brings out the best of the native lifestyle. Unlike other resorts, we want guests to know our Fijian staff personally, like family. Guests will live and play alongside the Turtle family, and from this warm, ancient yet living culture, guests experience a new sense of community and a nurturing, teaching, fun-loving staff with a great South Pacific sense of humor. Group dinner parties are held every night at several locations around the island, where guests can linger for hours among newfound friends.
