Positive Reviews
positive:
Off in your own world.
If you're looking for private relaxation or romance, you'll be in your own little world at this resort. Each villa has private lounging areas and gardens and you'll be secluded, even during the busy season. There are plenty of relaxing spots like hammocks and you can even bathe and swim privately.
positive:
Do as much as or little.
If seclusion and privacy aren't your thing, not to worry. Here, you can do as much or as little as you want. There are loads of activities like dolphin excursions, as well as a spa. There are five restaurants to choose from and an ice-cream parlour with lots of common areas for meeting new people.
positive:
Back to nature.
The resort has a "bare feet" policy, which means you don't have to wear those troublesome shoes the whole time you're there. The paths and sands are smooth walking. Plus, you can snorkel right beside your villa and see dolphins, coral, and plenty of fish. If you're looking to get back to nature, this is the place to be.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Food isn't 5-star.
Unfortunately, the food choices don't match the five-star rating expected after paying such a hefty bill. The villas and overall luxury lead guests to expect to be "wowed" at dinner, but the food is just average and the portions are small.
negative:
You won't need binoculars.
The resort is surrounded by other islands and the sounds do carry across the water. It's also possible to see these islands from the beach. If you want complete and total seclusion, this might spoil your expectations.
negative:
Jet-lagged.
The trip to the resort is a really long one by air. After your longest flight, you'll still have to board a smaller plane and then a speed boat to complete the journey. Also, be aware of departure times as the resort doesn't allow late check out.
