About Kihaa Maldives
Situated on the island of Kihaadhuffaru, Kihaa Maldives is a five-star, beach front resort which offers 124 private villas.
Each villa includes free Wi-Fi access, a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, bath tub, complimentary bottled water and toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities and ocean views. I-pod docking stations and DVD players are available on request.
The resort offers 24-hour front desk reception, fitness facilities, sauna and steam room, spa services, children’s pool, childcare services, free supervised children’s activities as well as wedding services.
Three on site restaurants and two bars are offered which feature local and international dishes. 24-hour room service is also available.
From Malé International Airport, Kihaa Maldives is a 20-minute domestic plane ride away. Activities that guests can enjoy at the resort include tennis, windsurfing, canoeing and snorkelling. Kihaadhuffaru Island pier and beach are 2-minute walk away.

Amazing views and activities.
The natural environment around the resort is stunning. The is white and the ocean offers a range of blue hues. There are also a variety of activities to engage in, especially water sports. Guests recommend snorkelling and scuba diving in particular, for experiencing the underwater sea life that the island has to offer.

The rooms are comfortable and spacious and all basic amenities including Wi-Fi access, bottle water, tea and coffee are included. The bathrooms are also very large and offer stand alone bath tubs.

Friendly and efficient service.
Many found the restaurant and bar staff as well as staff on reception to be friendly, courteous and efficient. Guests are welcomed warmly to the resort. Housekeeping staff are diligent cleaning the rooms daily and replenishing items in the villa including restocking the fridge and replacing towels.

Expensive and low quality meals.
Some guests were disappointed with the limited variety of food on offer, while others complained that the quality of the food was poor. Some guests felt that the food was expensive for the level of quality received.

Guests reported a variety of negative customer service experiences. Some found staff to be unfriendly and rude and suggested that better customer service training is in order. Others found that requests were not met in a prompt manner. At times staff behaved incompetently and did not arrange for a smooth or reliable airport transfer.

Some guests found the decor of the rooms to be tired and old. New furnishings would improve the look and feel of the villas. Maintenance also needs some attention, as guests experienced problems such as the electricity not working for periods of time.
