About Jetwing Beach
Included in the Small Luxury Hotels of the World group, Jetwing Beach is a five star hotel located on the waterfront. Jetwing Beach was designed by internationally renowned Geoffrey Bawa.
All rooms come with a minibar and safe. Cable TV is provided, along with a DVD player. Each deluxe room has a private balcony or terrace, and free Wi-Fi is provided.

Five dining options are available, which offer both Sri Lankan and western cuisine. Casual options include the Terrace Bar and the Beach Deck Café, while Black Coral and the Sands offer a fine dining experience. An intimate setting in the form of beach dining is offered.
The cultural town of Negombo is easily accessed, as is Bandaranaike International Airport. Colombo, the capital, is 38km away.

Hawkers and stray dogs nearby.
Although the close proximity to the beach is a positive, many guests have noted that hawkers can approach guests at the poolside. In addition, there is a population of stray dogs and cats that roam the area. In each case, guests have noted that this is only a slight inconvenience, however management are reported to be working on the issue.

If you are travelling on business, then beware that there have been occasional reports that the Wi-Fi signal is intermittent in some rooms.

Musty smell from monsoon season.
One occasional complaint from guests has been a musty smell in rooms on the ground floor. Management have responded, stating that this is a result of monsoon season which can be rectifies by leaving the air conditioner running. In each case, staff members have been prompt to respond.
