The hotel is just steps away from the Louise Davies Symphony Hall as well as the opera house among other concert and theatre venues. This also inevitably means quite a few good restaurants around too.

The breakfast buffet served daily is convenient, well made and free to all guests and has a wide variety of pastries, fruit, cereals and other quality items. Guests also enjoy small extra touches like free warm cookies and a few apples to nibble on in the rooms.

It's possible that you take a wrong turn or wander away from the performing arts district and end up in the Tenderloin area, which can potentially be dangerous to get lost in, particularly after dark. Ask the staff which streets to keep to or use the maps on the bus shelters to avoid losing your bearings.
