Positive Reviews
positive:
Elegant rooms and suites
The rooms and suites at this hotel attract plenty of positive feedback from guests. The accommodation is reasonably spacious, quiet, and clean. The beds are good quality and the floor-to-ceiling windows with their views of the city or the mountains are a highlight.
positive:
Enjoyable dining
Feedback about the Writer's Bistro restaurant paints the hotel's dining option in a good light. The surroundings are attractive, the service is good, and the food is of a high standard with many farm-to-table options. You'll pay extra for breakfast, but most guests found the charge reasonable.
positive:
Good location
Guests tend to be pleased by the location of this hotel, often commenting on the selection of restaurants, bars, and shops that are within walking distance. Plus, many of the area's attractions are just a short drive from the property.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Bathrooms may not appeal
Despite the positive feedback about the rooms and suites, a number of guests were dissatisfied by the design of the bathrooms. There doesn't appear to be any rails or hooks to hang up wet towels. Also, the sliding glass door leaves gaps on either side of the frame, affording you little privacy.
negative:
Some parking issues
A number of reviews suggest that you may encounter issues trying to park at this hotel. The front lot seems to fill up quickly, so using the back lot may be your only option. Beyond that, public parking is a few blocks away. Unfortunately, there is no valet parking available, so you may end up hauling luggage further than you anticipate.
negative:
Occasional housekeeping oversights
Although the rooms and suites are found to be clean upon arrival, some guests report housekeeping oversights during their stay. Reported issues include unemptied trash cans, missing toiletries, and stray hairs.
