Red Lion Hotel Redding (Redding, USA)

The hotel buffet breakfast is wonderful. Scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, cereal both hot and cold, toast, and more. The dining space is nice and large, you can't beat it.

The staff is very friendly and courteous. They are a real professional team who appear motivated and quick to take care of any issues you might have.

The hotel is well maintained. Rooms are large with good natural light. Beds are comfortable, and everything you need is right there, including complimentary toiletries. The price is great and there's plenty of parking. Redding is known as the "City of Trails," and the hotel provides bikes to visitors for free.

This is probably more a matter of personal preference. The hotel allows people to come in the restaurant with their dog. Some people may feel uncomfortable with a strange dog around their food, especially if they don't have a pet.

You might find the water in the hot tub lukewarm and the water in the swimming pool too cold. It appears they have an issue getting water temperatures just right.

Though the hotel is pleasant enough, it does appear a bit dated. The hotel's online photos are not exactly what you find at the hotel once you get there. It's still nice all the same though.
