When entering your room, you will be impressed by the warm colors and brightness of the space. It's not because the room is super modern, it's just pleasant and nice. You will find plenty of amenities. Looking out your window at the rolling waves and sand swathed dunes is inspiring. It's even better if your room has a kitchenette. Some rooms even have a dishwasher.
Under the new management the hotel is even better. The large swimming pool, sauna, fitness center, hot tub, and other good stuff is still there. It's just that now there have been some added updates like a flat-screen TV, free continental breakfast and shuttle to the casino, coupon book, and more goodies.
The breakfast is small but not bad on quality. Pastries, yogurt, oatmeal, muffins, beverages, and more, makes it worthwhile to stop in the morning for a bite to eat.
The walls are so thin, the layout of the hotel may as well be open plan, without any walls at all! You hear every sound from other visitors and it can be really annoying. If it weren't for this defect, the hotel would be much, much better.
The staff needs to step up their game. The young ladies working behind the desk acted somewhat immature with giggling, talking and laughing loud, completely oblivious to customers in the lobby. Not a good look at all.
Rooms could be a bit cleaner. You may find mold in a number of places that seem awkward for such a nice hotel.
