Quality Hotel 33 (Oslo, Norway)

Quite a few guests were pleasantly surprised to discover that, in a city as expensive as Oslo, the parking at the hotel was free of charge. They considered it a bargain.

While the reviews of the food are a bit mixed, nobody faults the view from the hotel's main penthouse level restaurant. It is described as spectacular, and a high point of the hotel.

The hotel staff here are overwhelmingly described as very friendly, and more than willing to help guests with any of their queries or concerns.

By far the most common complaint is that the hotels location leaves a lot to be desired. It is in what has been described as an industrial estate, some way outside of central Oslo. While getting into Oslo by public transport is reasonably fast and convenient, guests do not find this makes up for the lack of bars restaurants and other activity in the surrounding area.

The hotel is on a busy highway, and quite a few guests mention that the sound of the cars zooming by can be disturbing at night.

The walls between the bathrooms and the sleeping areas consist of partial frosted glass panels. While this may at first appear stylish, it means that when the light in the bathroom is on, it lights up the whole room. Also, many guests are naturally uncomfortable with the partially see-through set up, especially if sharing a room with a colleague.
