By far the most common complaint is that the hotels location leaves a lot to be desired. It is in what has been described as an industrial estate, some way outside of central Oslo. The hotel is on a busy highway, and quite a few guests mention that the sound of the cars zooming by can be disturbing at night.
The walls between the bathrooms and the sleeping areas consist of partial frosted glass panels. While this may at first appear stylish, it means that when the light in the bathroom is on, it lights up the whole room. Also, many guests are naturally uncomfortable with the partially see-through set up, especially if sharing a room with a colleague.
