Palace Hotel (Desenzano del Garda, Italy)

The hotel has two pools, one of them on the roof, with spectacular views of Lake Garda. There’s also a snack bar on the terrace that serves light fare and drinks for guests relaxing poolside.

Guests love the hotel and facilities but say it’s a little too far from the centre of town to walk. Located between Sirmione and Desenzano, the hotel is easily accessible to both areas by car, taxi or bicycle. On the positive side, the hotel's location means the area is very quiet and peaceful.

There’s a bar and snack bar on-site and the hotel serves a breakfast buffet, but there are no evening meal options available. Most guests drive or take a taxi to a nearby restaurant for dinner and say there aren’t many options within walking distance of the hotel.

The hotel offers a shuttle service but guests say it runs on an unpredictable schedule and not frequently enough. Local buses stop outside the hotel and taxis are also available to get into and out of town.
