Olas Altas Inn Hotel & Spa (Mazatlan, Mexico)

Guests loved the location of the hotel which was only a short walk from the water. The proximity of the hotel to the beach for many was the highlight of their stay and would see their return.

A lot of people who stayed here had a similar experience with the staff at the hotel and praised how friendly and welcoming they were in their reviews. Guests said that nothing was too much trouble for the staff to attend to.

A number of reviewers commented that they thought that the hotel was well priced and that it was good value for money when compared to other hotels in the area and at similar price points. The good value would see them coming back for a return visit.

Guests who were disturbed by loud neighbours or by guests staying above them suggested that the hotel's management could invest in a little more sound proofing, as the found the hotel very loud which disturbed their stay.

A number of guests commented that the hotel looks nothing like it does in the pictures advertised on its Website or on third party operators.  Guests said that the pool was also very disappointing as they were expecting a clean and sparkly inviting pool, but got a dirty unkept pool in need of serious maintenance.

One common complaint from people who stayed here was that as a guest you were not allowed to bring food in from outside of the hotel for consumption in either the common area or in your rooms. For guests with children or who like to eat in, this was impractical.
