Positive Reviews
positive:
A sight for sore eyes.
According to previous guests, everything about a stay at Lone is beautiful to look at; from the unique architecture of the building itself, with its six-storey high lobby, to idyllic Rivonj harbour and the surrounding forest. The beach too, has been subject to a revamp; with the pebble bay transformed into a clean space with sunbeds and umbrellas dotted all over.
positive:
Truly five star.
The hotel is a five-star offering and, for most guests, it is evident from the start. Staff are friendly, polite and helpful, rooms are spacious, modern and very well-equipped, and it has a luxurious, yet relaxing, atmosphere.
positive:
Everything you could need.
The list of the facilities at Lone is vast and you can enjoy everything from indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, whirlpools, treatments in the spa, get a drink at one of the many bars or play a game on one of the 12 tennis courts during your stay.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Patchy Wi-Fi coverage.
Some guests have experienced issues with the Wi-Fi; with some describing it as unreliable, difficult to connect to and patchy, at best. Others, however, have stated the opposite, so it may be that certain areas of the hotel are affected more than others.
negative:
Minor, superficial issues.
The overall feel of the hotel is one of luxury, however, small details are missed, at times, and, given the hotels five-star status, guests feel that issues such as faulty plug sockets, slipped wardrobe doors and unkept gardens shouldn't occur.
negative:
Too pet-friendly for some.
Dogs are welcome at the hotel and this presents a problem for some, particularly given that large swathes of the premises are carpeted. Most feel that canine companions should be welcome in rooms but take issue with their occasional presence in the restaurant.
