Guests say that the guesthouse is very well located, the city centre and main attractions being a 15 to 20-minute walk away. There are great transport links nearby, with the tram station only a few metres away and the Metro is a short walk too.

Guests say that the staff are very friendly and will make you feel really welcome, with nothing being too much trouble for them. They are really informative, and happy to suggest places to visit, restaurants to eat at and how best to get around Lisbon.

Sparkling shared bathrooms
Although most of the bedrooms do not have private bathrooms, and instead have the use of shared facilities, there are three bathrooms to five bedrooms and so they do not get too busy and still feel private. They are kept lovely and clean by the staff.

No housekeeping service
While the guesthouse is cleaned in common areas, some guests said that their rooms were not cleaned, beds were not changed, and fresh towels were not provided during their stay. This even applies to guests who stayed for more than a week.

Unlike a hotel, where you would expect to have reception staff available most if not all of the time, there are not always staff at this guesthouse. They may only come to the property if someone is checking in, so you may not have someone immediately available if you need assistance.
