Guests said this hotel has a quiet and distinguished residential location, which is nevertheless close to buses to take you throughout the Lido of Venice — and especially to the main vaporetto station, giving you easy access to Piazza San Marco. The beach, a handful of eateries and the Venice Film Festival venue are also a short walk away.

Cheap prices for Venice was the main reason mentioned for staying at Villa Parco, although if you are looking for anything more than basic accommodation, others have recommended to pay a little extra elsewhere.

Those who stayed at least found the basics with simply furnished rooms that were generally clean and tidy. However, the apparent need for a deeper clean and renovation meant that guests thought the hotel had the potential to be much nicer.

Run down with air conditioning issues.
At time of writing in early 2016, Villa Parco was considered to be run down, with a fair amount of maintenance thought to be needed on furniture, doors and windows. On top of this, guests often mentioned that the air conditioning in rooms was not working, or at least not very well.

A few guests said you should keep in mind that it takes some time to reach the city if staying here, so consider this if you are planning on spending a lot of time in central Venice or want to have lots of attractions within walking distance.
