Positive Reviews
positive:
Well-equipped rooms, suitable for the family
All rooms are said to
be on the generous side, and the family accommodation in particular is big
enough to feel comfortable and not cramped. Guests have commented on how
beautifully decorated the hotel is, and this has helped create a more memorable
experience.
positive:
Good places to eat and drink nearby
The fully-equipped kitchen
means that you can prepare meals easily enough within your room, but if you
want to have a lazy break away then don't worry. There are plenty of dining options nearby,
with reputable restaurants and bars just minutes from the hotel. There is a
supermarket nearby too for any additional bits and pieces you might need.
positive:
Friendly and accommodating staff
Staff are
well-regarded at this hotel, so you can certainly expect to receive service
with a smile.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Not in the centre of town
If you are looking
for a hotel in the centre of Florence, this is not it. Guests say that you can
expect to walk up to 25 minutes to reach the centre, which is fine for some but
might not be fine for you. On the plus side, there is a regular bus service
running outside the hotel which will get you into town.
negative:
No free parking
Parking is not free at this hotel, so
if you do have a car you need to factor this cost in. The cost is said to be
quite prohibitive, so if you can get here without using a car then that might
be the sensible thing to do.
negative:
Tricky to find
Lots and lots of guests have said how difficult it was to find this hotel. So, rather than rely on signposts, make sure you have a good map with directions!
