Positive Reviews
positive:
The price is right
If basic accommodation is what you are looking for, and you are not too concerned about the extra frills and fuss, then the room price here should be really good for the budget. Guests found that they ended up with a few extra coins to spend on something for themselves.
positive:
Easy drive to city
If you have your own vehicle with you, then it's an easy drive to the city centre. Guests found shopping a breeze, and found a variety of interesting stores all close by to one another, making finding what you need relatively simple.
positive:
Convenient for students
If you are studying at the University of Canberra, then the apartments are only a short walk from your studies, and the on-site coffee shop, and the vibe on campus is appealing to many of the students. Make sure you bring your walking shoes, as the campus is rather extensive.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Serious cleanliness issues
An alarming number of guests reported dirty stained sheets, very dusty apartments, and a general lack of hygienic conditions. The kitchen facilities were not much of an improvement, and several guests brought whatever linen and blankets they had in their vehicles to use for sleeping.
negative:
Urgent update needed
Worn furniture, rusty appliances, and very out-dated fixtures and fittings were some of the complaints that guests brought to the table. Because the rooms are generally reserved for student accommodation, guests made the suggestion that tough, hardy furniture replace the flimsy sofas already in place.
negative:
No public transport nearby
If you need to get to town or stock up on a few groceries, you will either need to have your own vehicle or pay the price of a taxi or uber. Visitors found the getting around rather awkward, and felt it would be beneficial to come in your own car.
