Positive Reviews
positive:
A baseball fan's dream hotel
This hotel is so close to the Cardinals' stadium that all guests have to do is walk right across the street. The views from some rooms are so amazing that it seems as if the hotel is just in the outfield and guests could lean out the windows to catch a homerun ball. Also, Cardinals Hall of Fame Museum and St. Louis Ballpark Village is within walking distance for the serious fan.
positive:
A homerun of accommodations
This hotel is much nicer than guests might expect for a hotel across from a stadium. The rooms are large with spacious baths. Plus, the decor is modern and beautifully appointed. Overall, the comfort level is one of luxury.
positive:
Pitched in a lot of extras
This hotel has a lot to offer guests. There is a fitness center and full-service spa, as well as self-parking and valet parking. If the restaurant and lounge onsite don't fill you up, the location allows you to walk to restaurants, bars, and museum in the immediate area.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Strike 1-busy and noisy
Since the hotel is located in a busy downtown location, the traffic noise is extreme especially during morning and evening rush hors. When a game is going on, it seems frantic with the hotel filling up and feeling like Grand Central Station.
negative:
Strike 2-pricey
The rates are expensive, even when considering the city location. However, there are also high daily rates for WiFi, and even more fees for parking and taxes like a tourism tax. Plus, on game days, the overnight prices dramatically increase.
negative:
Strike 3-the staff
The staff at the hotel can be very slow to respond to requests and concerns. Often, guests have to place multiple phone calls even when simply requesting more towels.
