The Westin Pasadena is near numerous traditional and modern buildings with magnificent architectures. The views are beautiful even during the night. The lights blend well. For further enjoyment, you can proceed to the pool on the top floor. It has a heating system, which makes the experience more comfortable.
positive:
Efficient front desk staffs
The smiles of the front desk staff do not seem to be wearing off their faces. The check-in process can be completed in five to ten minutes. Moreover, the parking is also very easy. The management even gives you fresh fruits or drinks if it's your birthday, anniversary, or honeymoon.
positive:
Unique and astounding architecture
The Westin Pasadena does not look like a typical hotel under a chain. It rather looks like a luxurious boutique hotel or a mansion. The Spanish-inspired design is a brilliant concept. Furthermore, the marble and sturdy columns are astounding.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Issues with the hallways
If you are a keen observer, you can see the tipped features of the ceiling. It looks like it has not been taken care of for years. The corridors smell strange sometimes. However, these cannot have a big negative impact to your stay.
negative:
Cleaning schedule is unusual
The cleaners stop doing their jobs after noon. This is a bit weird for a four-star hotel. Sometimes, the rooms are not cleaned even if the "no disturb" sign is removed. Thus, you are advised to approach the housekeepers so they won't forget to clean your room.
negative:
Few sun loungers
There are about twelve sun loungers by the pool. These are not enough especially during peak seasons. However, the loungers are very comfortable and clean. Thus, going to the pool area early to get good spots is definitely worth your time.
