Positive Reviews
positive:
Wonderful full kitchen facility
Guests loved the open kitchen where they can prepare simple meals and meet the other guests of the house. It is a spacious room that is clean, nicely-decorated, and has all the necessary equipment needed to prepare meals.
positive:
Generally convenient location close to transports
Most guests were delighted because of the excellent location of this property. It is close to the subway and bus station between downtown and uptown. Moreover, there are banks and supermarkets around which made it convenient despite being quite far from downtown.
positive:
Caring staff made guests feel at home
The manager and staff in this place were all caring and attentive in keeping the property clean and in making sure that all guests were well taken care of. They were a great help to guests who want to explore the city easily.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Steep stairs with no railing
Previous guests did not like the structure of the stairs, as it was very steep and there were no railings. Carrying heavy luggage and suitcases upstairs to the rooms was a bit of a problem most especially to the elders and people with mobility issues.
negative:
Credit cards are often not accepted
It was stated online that they accept credit cards so guests were surprised when staff asked for cash payment. Some who were made to pay in cash did not have cash on hand so they needed to use the local ATM with additional fees.
negative:
Other rooms do not have air conditioning system
Other rooms in this property do not have air conditioning which disappointed previous guests particularly those who visited during summer season. It was hot and very humid during the months of July and August so guests suffered that kind of weather without the help of an air conditioning system.
