Guests appreciated the centrally located hotel, placing it in the centre of the village and just off the main road, for an easy find.

Hospitality is key in the hotel business. The Old Pheasant fortunately offers top quality service, with helpful staff who are also friendly, adding to the charm and atmosphere of the hotel.

Guests now rely on Wi-Fi for much of their planning and reservations, as well as communication and the service is now standard across hotels in the UK. Guests at the Old Pheasant appreciated that it was free and that it worked well.

While many of the guests enjoyed their stay and found the rooms to their standard, others felt their rooms were not up to par, with dirty rooms and stained carpets a reoccurring complaint.

Similarly, most guests found the bathrooms sufficient, however some felt their bathroom could be cleaner, saying toilets and bathrooms were dirty or weak water pressure in the showers and needed a refurbishment.
