The location of the Kings Hotel is a major asset, on the quiet A40 but with easy access to Junction 5 of the M40. For the business traveller and anyone organising an event it is ideally accessible, with parking for 100 cars.

The staff at reception are efficient and helpful. They reserved a section of the bar area for some business colleagues who wished to work into the evening. Similarly guests who had organised social functions, including a wedding and a ball, were delight

Where the renovations to the hotel had been completed guests found the results to be excellent, and commented that the value for money here is very good.

From guests' comments it would appear that some of the guest rooms have not yet had any refurbishment. A number of guests reported that rooms were very dark, and not properly aired, with evidence of smoking in some cases. Where only one towel was provided

There was nobody on reception when these guests arrived, eventually someone came to the desk and checked them in while continuing their conversation on the phone: rude and not the welcome one would expect in a good hotel.
