positive:
Stunning en-suites.
The en-suite bathrooms are a particular highlight of the accommodation. En-suite bathrooms feature all modern fittings and finish with beautiful dark tiles and an overall monochromatic look and feel with walk-in showers, divided by glass from the rest of the bathroom. The overall feeling is one of spacious, clean modern luxury.
positive:
Warm and friendly staff.
Staff are warm and very approachable and will take care of any request or query with a friendly can-do attitude that makes all the difference in the overall experience of staying at the Inn at Brough. Front desk staff are more than happy to help with advice or arrange things like taxis and bar and restaurant staff are friendly and efficient.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some issues with room temperature controls.
Rooms are equipped with heating units that
are intended to easily control the ambient temperature in each room however,
some seem to struggle with the complicated controls and find it difficult to
achieve the desired temperature setting for optimal comfort.
negative:
Parking can be tricky.
The Inn at Brough offers guest's convenient free onsite parking which is fine on quieter days but, because the place is so popular, on busier days finding good parking can be quite tricky.
negative:
Room Wi-Fi spotty.
Perhaps surprisingly, the in-room Wi-Fi signal can often behave erratically, particularly in rooms that are the furthest from the Wi-Fi signal source. Using the Wi-Fi availability in conference facilities or lobby offers much better levels of performance.
