Hotel The Estes Park Resort (Estes Park, USA)

The Estes Park Resort is in a splendid location and guests are treated to fresh mountain air and calming Lake sights. It is a perfect holiday getaway in the mountains for both leisure and corporate travelers. The resort is close to Estes Park's attractions as well, like the Reel Mountain Theater, Estes Park Museum and Aspen Evergreen Gallery, which are all within three kilometers of the resort. The Visitors Bureau and Estes Park Convention are a five minute drive from it.

The rooms and suites are plush and provided with luxuries like pillow top beds, down comforters and Egyptian cotton sheets. 32" flat screen TVs, minifridges and coffee makers are featured in all the rooms. Chair and work desk provided with telephone and voice mail facilities are present. Suites have extra living spaces, gas fireplace and private balcony. Larger suites have Murphy bed with sofa sleepers and spa suites add a Jacuzzi.

The resort has plenty of facilities to keep guests occupied. Besides an indoor pool there is a hot tub. A fitness center with all equipments needed for a complete workout is present. The spa offers a full in room service including relaxing treatments. The resort is equipped to hold meetings and events like weddings with the required space and facilities. Guests can hire boats and bicycle at the marina next door and go on fishing expeditions. The casual dining restaurant serves delicious meals and a full service bar is present as well. Parking and Wi-Fi access are free amenities.

The resort appears to be under-staffed as the trash cans in the common areas like lobby, fitness center and pool area are full to overflowing, which is not a pleasant sight.

Housekeeping is inefficient and tardy and does not clean rooms till late in the evenings. They do not do a good job of it too.

There is no air conditioning in the rooms and windows do not open making the place too warm for comfort.
