If you're on a budget, staying here may allow you to enjoy more of the other delights Bruges has to offer. The thought of a value hotel may fill you with trepidation, however, guests will reassure you that you've nothing to worry about. You won't have to sacrifice a lot of comfort – so long as you can cope with sharing a bathroom and toilet. The place is clean and has everything you need. You certainly won't have to go without good hospitality either – many guests return frequently because the owners are just so nice and welcoming. They do everything in their power to create a warm and relaxed ambiance.

You couldn't be much better located if you're coming by rail. You can literally be in the hotel minutes after stepping off the train. Access by car is also easy and there is plenty of parking behind the hotel. Guests appreciate the calmness of the area and the ten minute walk to the town centre isn't much of a burden.

Guests rave about the quality of the continental breakfast. You have a nice selection of breads, jams and cheeses.

In order to benefit from the great value provided here, you have to sacrifice the “luxury” of an en-suite bathroom. Although many guests adapt to this necessity without a fuss, some guests simply don't appreciate sharing or having to wait to use the toilet or shower.

Guests find the furniture is a bit on the old side – without the charm element to compensate.

You may find that you can hear other guests talking and moving around in their rooms, as guests point out that the walls are paper thin.
