Positive Reviews
positive:
Excellent entertainment team
Several guests singled out the animation team as being worthy of the highest praise. They were said to be extremely hard working, and always tried to involve the audience in their shows wherever possible. Also mentioned was that they had good programs for all ages.
positive:
Apartments are quite spacious
Whatever other small issues guests may have had with the apartments, size was not one of them. They were described as quite spacious, with enough rooms for all booked in to co-exist in relative peace and harmony.
positive:
Great theme nights in the restaurant
While most guests seemed to find the food offered in the buffet to be quite decent, their highest praise was on the theme nights that they put on every now and then. They were said to be a cut above the regular meals and gave guests a good chance to sample a couple of different cuisines.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No lift to the top floors
Guests on other floors were happy as clams, but those on the top floor mentioned that the lifts reached only up to the floor below. It wasn't a big issue for most, but those with prams to carry up, or who had mobility issues were obviously less than 100% happy.
negative:
Weak drinks
Perhaps because many are staying on a fully-inclusive basis, it was mentioned that the drinks seemed to have been prepared by a secret teetotaller intent on changing the world. It was suggested that guests should request directly for a bit more of the hard stuff.
negative:
Pool is unheated
While this wasn't a big problem in summer, in the shoulder seasons, where the weather could often be warm enough for a quick dip the water itself would be freezing, and only really suitable for members of the Polar Bear Swim Club.
