Hotel Sina Bernini Bristol, Autograph Collection (Rome, Italy)

The hotel’s location is great for strolling through Rome and taking in all the sites. You won’t lack for things to do. It’s also in walking distance to the Spanish Steps. There is plenty of shopping and restaurants too.

This is a very comfortable hotel. The rooms are a grand size, the beds are comfortable, and the towels are soft. The bathroom is large with a bidet, but you must remember not to pull the cord in the bathtub or you will set-off the alarm!

One of the fun things about staying in this area is the Step-On/Step-Off tour bus. You can jump on and get off where you want along the bus route. It’s jolly fun.

There seems to be some type of security software shielding the Internet in the hotel. So, you may be restricted from your favourite sites, even if it’s a business site. The connection is only 3G.

The staff seems grim and room service can be iffy. You may encounter broken handles, a previous occupant’s trash in your room, no kettle for tea or coffee, minibar prices out of this world, staff entering room at night unannounced, and so on.

If you make arrangements at the hotel like early pickup or something of that nature, check and check again, your wish may or may not be fulfilled. In the service area, the staff lacks poise. Moreover, the breakfast is mediocre and the service is as well.
