San Marco Palace Suites is situated in an ideal location just behind Saint Mark Square in Venice. Guests can enjoy golf, windsurfing, parasailing, scuba diving, sailing, water skiing, and snorkeling at nearby facilities. Guests can also walk, cycle, or take a bus ride around town for shopping. The hotel offers excellent views of the canals and Venice rooftops.

The hotel features one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites. The two bed-room suites are large and have two deluxe bathrooms making them ideal for large families. The rooms are clean and the air conditioning works perfectly, which is a big plus during summertime when Venice gets hot and humid. A kitchenette is provided while the living room is large and equipped with comfortable chairs and sofas.

Hotel fails to honor reservations.
A few guests have reported that they found that their reserved rooms had been booked to somebody else and were forced to stay in other suites. This can be especially inconveniencing for large families that reserves a two-bedroom suite only to end staying in a single bedroom suite.

While many guests were happy with the hotel's staff which they termed friendly, a few guests have reported that the staff was unusually slow in delivering orders.
