The property is well-situated and provides easy access to the Owl's Head Lighthouse just eight miles away and is just over five miles to the center of the town of Rockport. The hotel features a formal Italian cuisine inspired restaurant La Bella Vita and a casual Clubhouse Grille which overlooks the golf course and also features a wine bar. In addition, the pool area also offers bar services. .

Rooms unfortunately do not feature adequate soundproofing and are quite thin. This may lead to interrupted sleep due to other guests moving in and out of rooms, noise in the hallways and even hearing casual conversations in adjoining rooms.

Some of the rooms and accompanying en-suite facilities are quite small and therefore not suited to family stays. A better choice for larger groups or for those who prefer more space would be the separate and self-contained cottages. .

The hotel amenities such as the restaurant and bar are closed by around 10pm at night and the room service hours are also limited to around a similar time. .
