Hotel room Select Bilbao (Bilbao, Spain)

Rooms are quite spacious and very clean. Not many frills, but all necessities are here and everything works … even the Wi-Fi. Back rooms are quieter. Front rooms face the street.

Very attentive to the needs of guests; staff members here also speak English; something of a bonus for many guests.

There are lots of shops and restaurants; all within walking distance of the hotel. If arriving at Bilbao Airport, it's an easy journey to the hotel, consisting of the bus to the Termibus Terminal and than a taxi will deliver you quickly to the hotel. Alternatively, just get the tram from the bus station. Pintxos is the Basque equivalent of the Spanish Tapas … and one of the city's best is right next door! Not good for sleeping ... but great for a fun night out.

There can be something of a noise problem- but it's not a huge one-due to the lack of internal soundproofing.

Very average and of course, breakfast is of a basic continental style.The breakfast area, itself, is not particularly appealing either, so breakfast here is well worth a miss. Try one of the numerous cafes and tapas bars nearby and prepare to be thrilled!

Beds are somewhat small and the mattresses are very hard. When combined, the result isn't the best night's sleep ever. But, the room is very clean and the overall value is excellent.
