Positive Reviews
positive:
Just far enough from everything.
Sure, you won’t be right in the thick of Rome, but you also won’t be too far from it. Whether travelling by car or by train, you’ll only be 20 minutes from the historic city centre, the Pantheon, the Vatican, the Colosseum and of course St. Peter’s Basilica.
positive:
Lovely and free continental breakfast.
Most room packages include a free and filling continental breakfast buffet. The buffet generally consists of fresh croissants, toasted bread and rolls, cold meats, yoghurt and fresh fruits, as well as coffee, tea and juices. There are no hot breakfast options, though.
positive:
Peaceful environs near the hustle of Rome.
Each day, after you’ve explored the Etruscan cities and the ancient and modern hub that is Rome, you can retire to a quiet little hotel and be enriched by the natural beauty surrounding you. Relax in your room and listen to the sounds of the night before waking to a free breakfast and prepping for another excursion.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Ask for directions.
Even armed with the modern convenience of GPS, some guests have had trouble finding the hotel due to its idyllic rural setting. As such, you may wish to ask for directions, which should be easy, because the staff speaks excellent English.
negative:
staff speaks excellent English. A handful of quibbles.
For the most part, guests of the hotel have appreciated the quiet locale and the courteous service. However, there have been a few concerns, including cramped restroom facilities, lack of coffee and tea makers, limited dining options and spotty Wi-Fi signal, which have cause irritation but not ruined anyone’s time.
negative:
Lack of libations.
Although some websites note the hotel as having a bar, several guests have mentioned that the hotel only provides a breakfast buffet and room service. If you’re looking for a hotel with a full-service restaurant and/or bar, the Resort La Rocchetta may not be ideal for you.
