Negative Reviews
negative:
In dire state
Lots
of guests count this hotel as amongst the worst they have ever stayed
in. The furniture and beds are old and of bad quality and the place
is dark and dingy. A lot of the equipment (e.g. televisions, remote
controls or cable boxes) is faulty and many guests spend their time
calling maintenance. Bathroom fittings and even toilets seem to be
falling apart. Some say it needs upgrading, other say it needs
closing down.
negative:
Poor hygiene
Many guests are disgusted by the standard of cleanliness of the hotel. They say that it is filthy and smelly. There is damp in the rooms and a constant musty smell. The bathrooms are dirty and the sheets, walls and even the ceilings are covered in stains. This is, of course, good news for bedbugs and cockroaches!
negative:
Disinterested staff
Although some of the staff appear to be friendly and concerned about the welfare of their guests, many guests testify to the contrary. The staff are often rude and just being there seems to be an inconvenience to them.
