Yolihuani which means "Source of Life" is an old house totally magical and cozy built with traditional materials such as adobe, tiles and wood; there are galleries bordering gardens with a large avocado tree or a giant ash tree, there are plants everywhere, grass, chairs for lounging, colors and handcrafted decor are warm. The rooms with their high ceilings and wooden beams have large comfortable beds, fitted with hypoallergenic goose feather and down duvets. Private bathrooms are decorated with traditional Talavera tiles of various colors and designs. Each room has its own style and atmosphere. The hosts, Eric and Vicky are careful receiving and welcome you, so that you feel comfortable and relaxed, they have detailed informations to discover their beautiful region, its natural and historical interesting spots, and the extraordinary skill of its craftsmen and artisans. In the morning a copious and delicious breakfast awaits you with natural and fresh local products, before strolling around the cobbled streets of lovely Patzcuaro, discovering the lake or the surrounding indigenous communities. La Posada Yolihuani has a multipurpose room where artists often exhibit their work; there are musicians, theater shows, a film club every Monday and an organic market every Friday morning.
