Previous guests have tended to rate the standard of service offered by the staff at the Peartree Lodge Waterside highly. There do seem to be occasional booking errors but, that aside, the staff is generally found to be friendly and accommodating toward guests.

While a few guests found the rooms a bit too basic for their needs, the general consensus is that the accommodation here is clean and comfortable and certainly adequate for a few nights. The rooms offer all the essentials and most guests leave positive feedback about the standard of the beds and showers.

All things considered, the Peartree Lodge Waterside seems to offer good value for money. Although you'll need to find room in your budget for breakfast, Internet access and parking are thrown in, meaning many guests have found the room rates reasonable.

Feedback about the adjacent restaurant is far less favourable than for the hotel itself. Although they are separate businesses, it is the dining option that's pitched by the hotel. Unfortunately, guests frequently rate the standard of food and service as less than impressive.

If you're lucky enough to get a room facing the marina, then it's likely that you'll love the view from your room. On the flip side, you can just as easily be allocated a room overlooking the car park and, in some cases, the hotel bins.

Several guests mention that they found the temperature in their room was  little too cold. Unfortunately, it seems that the heating is centrally controlled and on a timer, so you won't be able to set it yourself.
