    Although guests found Monasterium Poortackere to be well-placed to explore the gorgeous city of Ghent by foot, the area itself proved to be nice and quiet, and conveniently, had some provision for parking.

    As you may expect from such an establishment as Monasterium Poortackere, the decor shows signs of wear and tear in parts, and the furniture was also found to be dated bý some, with a few guests not finding the beds and linen to be in good shape. Despite this, most people considered everything to be kept in good condition considering the age and thought it was perfectly fine as long as you do not expect modern luxury.
