Menorca Experimental is nestled in a green and peaceful atmosphere in Menorca Island, the least developed island of the Balearic archipelago. Reborn from the gracious old bones of a 19th century finca, on 30 hectares of land, Menorca Experimental is designed in the spirit of an artist's vacation cottage Surrounded by pine groves, fragrant juniper shrubs and wildflowers, the whitewashed compound has been carefully restored—including, soon, its original vegetable garden—by a team of local craftsmen under the guidance of interior designer Dorothée Meilichzon. Airy, open spaces use rustic drystone, waxed concrete and rough-hewn local wood plank floors with accents of hand glazed terra cotta tile. The finca is home of 43 ROOMS including 9 with their own dipping pools, allowing guests to choose between the cordial shared experience, or the possibility of more intimate seclusion. In keeping with the stylish simplicity of the main building, comfortable rooms are streamlined in design. Ceiling fans circulate the sea breeze. Windows accent breathtaking views with pops of complementary color. Guests at Menorca Experimental find themselves in an intimate relationship to the environment and can enjoy the great outdoors. The island is full of beautiful countryside, stunning coastline, incredible local know-how and traditions. A range of activities and diversions are offered on the island: horse riding, boat tour, mountain bike ; as well as yoga, pottery, painting classes and many others. The Menorca Experimental Spa offers a true experience of pleasure and relaxation: tailor-made treatments, peaceful moments in hammam & sauna and an intimate and relaxing space dedicated to yoga classes will allow guests to re-energize the harmony between body and mind. Our Restaurant offers a Mediterranean menu with a modern twist emphasizing the abundant fresh and seasonal produce from the land. A carefully chosen wine list emphasizing local knowhow is complemented by Experimental Cocktails, featuring bespoke recipes made exclusively with local ingredients, served at the lounge space around the infinity pool and in their own cocktail bar inside.
