Guests thought the location for tourists was perfect, across the street from a large skating rink and Le Capitole theater, where famous singers and other acts perform. The hotel is a five-minute walk from Parliament, 10 minutes on foot from Rue Saint Jean, and 15 minutes from Place Royale.

This newer hotel hs been constructed to fit in with the surrounding historical buildings. The charming interior features an impressive lobby with a sparkling chandelier that sets the tone. What guests loved most, was the cozy ambience in winter, where they could sit by one of two fireplaces, or warm up in the hot tub.

Enjoy free Wi-Fi at the Quebec City Marriott Downtown in the hotel lobby, but guests wishing to work from the comfort of their rooms must pay a daily fee. Some guests also felt that the Wi-Fi signal could have been stronger. Business travelers also weren't impressed that they had to sign in every 24 hours to use the Internet.
